Using this Website
There are several ways in which this website can be used.
Publicly available information
The initial pages of this website are available to the general public. They can be accessed without creating an account. Of course, evenyone who is interested in psl/psa is encouraged to register. This will make it easier for you to be kept up to date with new developments and for us to know about interest in psl/psa.
Information available to registered users only
The whole syntax of PSL/PSA as it was when last available as a commercial product is available on this site.
Shortly, a simpler version of PSL, called PSLlite will be available for people to try. This will only be available to registered users. At the time of writing, a decision has not yet been taken whether to make it available completely free of charge, or to make a very modest subscription charge. Developing PSLlite is costing money, and there needs to be a source of revenue to fund it.
A revised version of a complete PSL/PSA will be available later, and it is likely this will be a commercial product, again because those who are doing the development need to make a living.
To login to this site use the login form or the login menu link on the "This Site" menu. Use the user name and password that were created when you created an account. If you do not yet have an account, please register for one. It is likely to need approval and verification by you, because of the number of people who have nothing better to do that create false accounts on site like this! Sorry if you are inconvenienced because of the activities of a lot of idiots and criminals on the internet! Once logged in you will be able to create and edit articles that logged in users are able to see.
Creating an article
Once you are logged in, a new menu will be visible. To create a new article, click on the "submit article" link on that menu.
The new article interface gives you a lot of options, but all you need to do is add a title an put something in the content area. You can edit an existing article by clicking on the edit icon (this only displays to users who have the right to edit).
Shortly, there will be a discussion forum on this site. If possible, the site will be linked directly to the forum so it is only necessary to register and login once for both, but it is possible that there will be a requirement to register also for the discussion forum.
